Eric worked in sports departments at two daily newspapers in Wisconsin during an 18-year career, spending 14 years at the Wisconsin State Journal in Madison, during two stints and also working at the La Crosse Tribune. He served as a reporter, copy editor and department assistant editor during that time. Eric started WisconsinSoccerCentral.com (formerly MadisonSoccerCentral.com) in 2003 which has grown into the main source of news on the sport in the state of Wisconsin. He also does freelance work for the Associated Press and contributes to TheCup.us, the only website that provides full coverage to the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
