Brad Sham

Brad is one of the great broadcasters, not just in soccer, but in any sport. From 1998-2008, he was the voice of FC Dallas, in addition to lending his voice to various MLS TV broadcasts. He got his start in soccer in 1975 as the PR director for the Denver Dynamos of the NASL and later the Chicago Sting in 1976.

A graduate of the University of Missouri, he has been named the Texas Sportscaster of the Year 10 times by the NSSA, and was a member of the inaugural class of inductees in the Texas Sports Hall of Fame in 2002. He currently serves on the board of trustees at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame and the board of directors for the AT&T Cotton Bowl Athletic Association.

He has served as the voice of the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (1995-97) and currently works for Westwood One and does ESPN Regional broadcasts for college basketball and football. He has worked for the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys since 1977, and in 1984 he became the Voice of the Cowboys, a title he is proud to hold to this day.
