Chris Wondolowski of the San Jose Earthquakes has been voted the Major League Soccer (MLS) Player of the Week for Round 30 of the 2010 season.
Wondolowski continues his hot streak as he finishes the regular season with a hat trick in a 3-0 midweek win over Chivas USA and a goal in a 4-1 loss to Kansas City on Saturday. With that final goal, he overtakes Edson Buddle to win the MLS Golden Boot with 18 goals. He scored 10 of those 18 goals in the final two months of the season to overtake Buddle on the final day. For Wondolowski, this is his third Player of the Week award in the last five weeks.
